Compassionate care for children, teens, and their caregivers in Seattle.

Welcome! Let’s do this together.

We aren’t meant to exist in this world alone. In fact, we are interconnected people that need one another. Therapy is one relationship in a greater web of community care that is necessary to support a single person. This is a part of my ethos in working with children, teens, and families.

My hope for you, as someone in search of a therapist for yourself or for your loved-one, is that you will find a good fit. At any stage of life, finding relationships and support defined by safety, trust, and connection makes for a deeply-impactful foundation. This is the type of relationship I strive to offer those I work with.

Who I typically work with

I am a licensed associate therapist seeing clients in the Seattle area and Washington state. I primarily work with children, teens, and their caregivers. My approach to therapy will differ depending on age and what is developmentally appropriate. I mainly utilize child-centered play therapy and psychodynamic principles. At its core, my style is creative, depth-oriented, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed. To learn more about my approach to therapy, you can do so here.

I commonly work with

individuals and families

around:

Children, 5-12

Play is the first language children learn to express themselves in. I use a child-centered approach to play therapy when working with kids who have experienced trauma, grief, or suffering.

Teens, 13-17

The adolescent years can be full of changes, complexities, self-discoveries and questions. I use psychodynamic psychotherapy, a type of talk therapy, informed by child-centered play therapy.

Parents & Caregivers

If your child or pre-teen (under 13) is working with me, we will be collaborating! We will schedule a collaborative session for every 4-6 sessions your child has. This will allow you to share your expertise as their parent/caregiver, and for me to offer my clinical training to you and your experience.
